Mapping of non-profit entities
in the EU providing general
financial advice to consumers

Project summary:
The purpose of this study was to
map, in the EU Member States,
all existing non-profit general
financial advice (GFA) entities
active in advising consumers at
national, regional or local
level and the scope of the
service they provide. The study
also seeked to identify best
practices for ensuring the
financial sustainability of the
GFA service and to identify for
each individual entity any
further training needs with
respect to the provision of
general financial advice.
